Our leading retail client requires a highly motivated and energetic Business Systems Analyst to join their internal team on a permanent basis and assist with their ongoing D365 project.
Previous Experience: Previous Business Systems Analyst experience preferably within the Retail sector Demonstrable experience of the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform (2009,2012, 7 or 365), ideally within the Retail sector Can demonstrate extensive experience in application support and small-scale change Experience of working in an agile project environment with a cross-functional team Retail/ecommerce industry best practice awareness and the ability to challenge established process Retail/ecommerce process awareness and the ability to manage and facilitate business change
Responsibilities: Identifying organisational need for new applications, preparing technical specifications as a roadmap for software and implementing, testing and integrating new applications Monitor the Dynamics application ensuring the platform remains available and performant always Ensure routine system backups are conducted and system upgrades or new application releases are planned, tested and implemented with minimal impact to the business. Provide day-to-day support for all technical incidents and problems, principally relating to the Dynamics platform. Liaise with staff to resolve operationally impacting system issues, providing documented instructions and training when necessary. Liaise with support partners and software suppliers when needed to fulfil the requirements of the organisation. Work closely with the Business Analysts and Dynamics AX developers to identify and develop functionality changes.
