Senior Finance Transformation Manager

Permanent Warsaw, Poland €85,000 - €110,000 per annum

Our global end user client is looking for a Senior Finance Transformation Manager who will progress operational performance across the finance function, driving value through transformation and improvement, whether process or systems related. The agenda will focus on three areas of execution; transformation, where there are structural deficiencies, and/ or where requirements are changing due to growth, simplifications, and other projects.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a similar Finance transformation role
  • Seasoned manager of ERPs, and the wider finance systems environment, NetSuite Advantageous
  • Able to effectively manage the build of integrations of the wider ERP environment with related network of systems, e.g. AWS Redshift
  • Ability to build momentum by identifying, analysing, evaluating and resolving problems, ensuring the method of execution supports its intention
  • Background in Systems Management and/or Accounting and Project Management disciplines
  • The ability to prioritise and effectively manage workloads is crucial
  • Ability to manage key stakeholder relationships

Responsibilities – BAU Related:

  • Manage the Finance Systems Support team, recruit and /or train staff as necessary
  • Oversee the finance systems footprint (incl NetSuite, DocuPeak, OneSource, ReconArt and more) ensuring proper management, ensuring it functions effectively as a whole, and that future improvement programmes are suitably prioritised
  • Oversight of the Finance team instance of the JIRA platform, our issues logging system
  • Oversight of the Financial systems general controls environment, policies and accountable for the remedying of control weaknesses
  • Work with IT support to align service levels with the wider support model
  • Oversight of all finance systems integrations

Responsibilities – Project Related:

  • Draft and maintain an agenda/roadmap
  • Manage the interdependencies of projects to optimise the breadth of the investments
  • Using the JIRA platform build a governance and control structure to support and monitor the agenda/ roadmap’s progress from conception to execution to realising benefit
  • Process mapping across the finance function, understand the sources of information, their usability, usefulness and robustness and consider shortfalls against best practice
  • Ensure any interdependencies and potential trade-offs between BAU/transformation/simplification and other projects are highlighted
  • Align financial, people and technology resources to achieve the desired outcomes
