D365 F&O Functional Consultant

Permanent Scotland £50,000 - £70,000 per annum + package

Our global end user client is seeking a D365 F&O Functional Consultant to play a leading role in their Dynamics 365 F&O implementation programme. The successful candidate will ideally have strong Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience coupled with excellent organisation and planning skills.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant position
  • Expert knowledge of the Power Platform, Common Data Model (CDM), Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Project Service Automation & Field Services)
  • Demonstrable full-life cycle implementation experience of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in an enterprise business environment
  • Experience across several industries – ideally strong Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience
  • Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills via workshops or other methods
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and demonstrate proficient management skills
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to customers

Responsibilities:

  • Give direction on the Microsoft Dynamics based application estate, staying up to date on MS Dynamics 365 and the wider Microsoft product family, offering insight into upcoming and future roadmap changes
  • Identifying organisational and functional requirements for new applications or enhancements to existing applications with specific focus on supply chain processes such as planning, scheduling, work order processing and warehousing
  • Produce and maintain up-to-date documentation of supported applications (environment, functional and configuration documentation) in the Dynamics 365 eco-system for knowledge transfer and team resilience
  • Liaise with stakeholders to create user stories in order to produce and prioritise Road Map projects
  • Identify options to complete user stories through configuration / development of business applications
  • Assist in the monitoring and management of MS Dynamics 365 and related application estate, ensuring high availability and performance always
  • Act as an effective escalated level of support for functional and technical BAU incidents, problems and service requests for the IT Service Desk

Beneficial:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
