Our client are a global end user seeking a highly motivated senior JD Edwards Developer/Technical Consultant that has a minimum of 5 years of experience with the JDE platform, to join their team. They are looking a senior JDE technical specialist to work on Development, Maintenance and functional Support of all JDE modules and their integrations to other systems.

An ideal applicant should have strong experience in technical development of JD Edwards, as well as functional acumen and confident in communicating with senior stakeholders.

Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Ireland

Key Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years development experience working with JD Edwards Enterprise One
• Knowledge of the latest Tools Releases and technical capabilities.
• Experience using the Enterprise One programming toolset including FDA, RDA, Business Functions, debugging.
• Experience with Object Management Workbench and other E1 utilities and concepts such as cross reference facility, scheduler, data dictionary, vocabulary overrides, tables, business views, data structures, debug, asynchronous processing, master business functions, JDE cache, error handling, transaction processing
• Willingness to continually learn.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and enhance JDE E1 9.2 applications by designing and developing new as and support existing solutions to business needs utilizing the best of the available JDE  E1 Tool Set.
• Experience of Business Information Systems such as: ERP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Execution, Warehousing, Quality and Fulfilment solutions.
• Maintain up to date knowledge on JDE E1 technologies.
• Review and assess future JDE E1 releases/functionality and related emerging technologies to identify impact of the upgrade to the existing solutions as well as possible value to the organisation.
• Assist with upgrading JDE E1 applications and adopting system enhancements following defined IT guidelines, SOX, validation and user requirements.
• Suggest system changes and designs that enables continuous improvement in business processes
• In collaboration with other groups analyse high-level business initiatives/objectives, gather business requirements, relate them to system capabilities and define and build robust, flexible, reusable, and efficient end-to-end solutions accordingly with overall IT strategy.
• Work closely with Business Process Analysts, Business Analysts, other developers as well as Technical Service IS personnel, to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver quality IT solutions utilizing the best of JDE E1 toolset.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing and documentation as well as post-production and on-going support.
• Adhere to internal process implementation requirements and standards. Work within software design/development change management procedures.
• Provide support and troubleshoot standard and custom JDE E1 applications, solutions, and integrations.
• Provide on-call support as need for project implementations.

Location: Ireland – Hybrid

Candidates must be eligible to work and travel in Ireland.
