D365 F&O Application Engineer – Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement, ERP Support, CRM, System Integrations, Technical Leadership – Remote with Frequent Travel – £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
Our client is seeking a D365 F&O Application Engineer to join their Central Services IT Function. In this role, you will be responsible for the 3rd line day-to-day support of their ERP system across UK businesses. You will also be the leading technical expert for their ERP and the main liaison with the Group ERP program throughout delivery. This is a remote role with frequent travel.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly desirable
- Experience in developing, implementing, and supporting solutions in Customer Engagement (CE) or Finance and Operations (FO)
- Solid understanding of CRM and ERP concepts and functionalities
- Proven experience in leading the design, development, and implementation of D365 F&O solutions
- Technical leadership and some architectural design experience is advantageous
- Ability to make decisions characterized by managed levels of risk and complexity
- Ability to resolve technical disputes between peers and indirect stakeholders
- Understanding of trends and practices outside your team and how they will impact your work
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure in a fast-paced hybrid environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders and project teams
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive, can-do attitude with a problem-solving approach
- Team player with the ability to communicate effectively and escalate issues when appropriate
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the regional design review, development, and implementation of D365 F&O and CE modules to meet UK business requirements, reporting to the Service Desk Manager
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Lead the technical implementation of new functionalities, extending the platform’s capabilities
- Understand the application landscape and system integrations between D365 F&O, CE, and other third-party systems
- Share ERP and technical knowledge with 1st Line application support; assist the Service Desk Manager in developing this resource
- Monitor production environments using various toolsets
- Participate in system integration, data migration, and testing activities to ensure seamless project delivery
- Contribute to technical documentation and share knowledge within the team
- Promote best practices and deliver high-quality service
- Represent the business professionally and positively at all times
Salary and Benefits:

Location: Remote role with frequent travel within the UK
