Our manufacturing end user client is looking for an experienced D365 F&O Business Systems Analyst with a strong Finance/Accounting background to play a key role in their upcoming transformation program, designing and leading their architectural strategy.
The role will involve regular time on-site (roughly 40-50%) in Minnesota or North Dakota, so candidates need to be based in within these states to be considered.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong finance/accounting background – preferably possessing a finance degree or CPA qualification
- Functional expertise in a D365 F&O Implementation
- Business Intelligence: Advanced understanding of business intelligence techniques and technologies. Knowledge of logical and database programming languages is desired, with PL/SQL or SQL data query experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and Partner with Business: Work closely with business partners and BAs to understand needs and challenges to develop effective Dynamics-based solutions and achieve targeted business outcomes.
- Solution Delivery: Work in close collaboration with the Senior Solution Architect and Business Analysts to ensure the successful realization of solutions. Play a key role in shaping the capability roadmap, steering the progression of the solution with strategic objectives. This role may encompass MSD system configuration to meet specific solution requirements.
- Assist with the development of test scripts, test plans and activation with key stakeholders.
- Develop configuration documentation for the technology team and onboarding documentation for the front-end business users.
- Assist in data governance and data migration activities as needed.
- Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader within the organization and engage in events to explore what can be achieved; create early models of projects to encourage new ideas and ways to solve problems.
- Solution Comparison: Evaluate solution alternatives across both technical and business parameters to support feasibility, viability, and desirability requirements.
- Performance Management: Understand and manage key business performance indicators that impact assigned areas. Monitor IT and analytic activities that impact these KPIs.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry best practices and advanced analytic technologies.
- Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally
Location: Minnesota or North Dakota
