D365 F&O Functional Consultant (Project Accounting)  – Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, D365 F&O, Dynamics AX, Project Accountant, Project Accounting Specialist, Project Financial Analyst, Project Management, PMA, Project Management Accounting, Functional Consultant and Functional Analyst, Project Accounting, Project Costing  – $90-100ph – US Remote

Our end user client is currently looking for a D365 F&O Functional Consultant (Project Accounting) to work on their implementation of D365 F&O. the role will be focussed on implementing and optimizing Project Accounting in D365 F&O.

The role can be completed on a primarily remote basis and will work to Eastern time zone hours. Candidates must be US based and free to work without sponsorship.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Project Accountant, ideally within the ERP/Dynamics 365 environment.
• Proficiency in D365 Finance & Operations, particularly the Project Management and Accounting module.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and project financial management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project accounting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking within D365 F&O.
• Configure and optimize the Project Accounting module to align with business needs.
• Monitor project costs, revenue, and profitability to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and transparency.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Assist in the integration of project accounting with other D365 modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to project accounting in D365 F&O.
