A great opportunity has arisen for a JD Edwards Support Consultant to join our client’s IT support desk. The JD Edwards Support Consultant be responsible for first-line fault resolution in JD Edwards and it’s ancillary systems, such as EDI and other integrations. This position provides the opportunity to work on and learn about a broad range of IT related projects and activities.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in resolving faults in and educating users of JD Edwards
- Experience supporting JD Edwards, Finance, Distribution, Advanced Pricing, CRM, OneView, Sales Order Management, Transportation and CRM
- Experience liaising with third parties
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- An interest in learning new technologies
Desirable:
- Knowledge of DSI warehouse systems and EDI
- IT skills covering the Office 365 suite, Teams Voice & Mitel telephony
Responsibilities:
- Escalating issues to the Head of IT where necessary
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Contributing to business process improvement by assisting in business analysis activity and proposing technical solutions to make enhancements
- Undertaking small- to medium-sized, IT projects as required by the Head of IT
- Providing desktop and server support
- Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and Office 365
- Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
- Installing authorised software to laptops and desktops
- Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date
- Antivirus installation
