JD Edwards Support Consultant

Permanent Suffolk £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

A great opportunity has arisen for a JD Edwards Support Consultant to join our client’s IT support desk. The JD Edwards Support Consultant be responsible for first-line fault resolution in JD Edwards and it’s ancillary systems, such as EDI and other integrations. This position provides the opportunity to work on and learn about a broad range of IT related projects and activities.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in resolving faults in and educating users of JD Edwards
  • Experience supporting JD Edwards, Finance, Distribution, Advanced Pricing, CRM, OneView, Sales Order Management, Transportation and CRM
  • Experience liaising with third parties
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • An interest in learning new technologies

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of DSI warehouse systems and EDI
  • IT skills covering the Office 365 suite, Teams Voice & Mitel telephony

 

Responsibilities:

  • Escalating issues to the Head of IT where necessary
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Contributing to business process improvement by assisting in business analysis activity and proposing technical solutions to make enhancements
  • Undertaking small- to medium-sized, IT projects as required by the Head of IT
  • Providing desktop and server support
  • Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and Office 365
  • Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
  • Installing authorised software to laptops and desktops
  • Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date
  • Antivirus installation

 

Location: Suffolk
