Power Platform Analyst

Contract Home based £350 - £400 per day

Our client, a highly innovative end-user organisation, is looking for a Power Platform Analyst to join them on a contract basis and provide subject matter expertise across Power Platform and Azure. This role can be completed on a primarily remote basis but may require ad hoc time onsite.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Significant previous experience architecting cloud-based data platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure and related services
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform
  • At least 5 years Dynamics implementation or support experience
  • A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience of Dynamics Power Platform Data Integration
  • Experience of working as a member of a business-wise application support team
  • Exposure to Professional Service Automation (PSA)
  • Knowledge of D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) and/or HR (Talent)

Key Responsibilities:

Process and Data Governance

  • Specify and test a PowerBI data validation dashboard to manage adherence to the companies processes and data standards
  • Monitor the data integration dashboard and take action to get users to resolve issues

Support Triage, Escalation and Resolution

  • Triage integration-related support issues escalated by Business Champions, raise Support Tickets to the companies 3rd line support partner as appropriate
  • Liaise with Business Champions to resolve queries internally wherever possible

Maintain Process and System Documentation

  • Assist in maintaining an up to date repository of all system, process and training materials aligned to agree to the companies standards

Review, Approve/Reject Change Requests

  • Review all integration related Change Requests and assess consistency with agreed the companies standards
  • Ensure all approved Change Requests include updates to relevant documentation, are fully tested and communicated prior to release

Regression Testing and Release Management

  • Assist in maintaining a plan of all relevant future Microsoft product releases
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a suitable Regression Test Pack covering the full solution scope
  • Assist in regression testing of all new product releases, projects and change requests
  • Contribute to planning and managing all releases into the Production system
