JDE Technical Specialist – Home-Based

Permanent Remote based £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + bonus + benefits

Our high-profile client is looking for a JDE Technical Specialist to deliver timely resolution of technical incidents and service requests for ERP and related systems. The JDE Technical Specialist will have at least 5 years experience working in a Service desk environment coupled with process capture and improvement skills.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years JD Edwards (E1) CNC administration experience
  • Demonstrated solid problem solving skills and calmness under pressure
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a Service desk environment
  • 3+ years 1st /2nd line JD Edwards (E1) technical support
  • 2+ years Create!Form, Transform, RFSMART, AllOut Security, Smart Scheduler, BI Publisher, Oracle Content and Experience Cloud and Packman technical support desirable
  • Service delivery and IS process (ITIL, Agile)
  • Proven stakeholder management
  • Process capture and improvement skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage relationships within the organisation and liaise formally with stakeholders and peers
  • Responsibility for managing of ticket backlog to best standards and as agreed with business
  • Technically support existing ERP and Related Systems Develop functional and system design specifications for the organisations requirements
  • Technically administer the various ERP environments and underlying CNC components
  • Control access to the ERP environments, programs, reports and data according to agreed security policies Engage in E1 service transition after project delivery
  • Ensure changes to the ERP software and related systems are approved, tested and deployed according to agreed procedures and schedules
  • Ensure changes can be rolled back where necessary
  • Ensure all ERP related software components meet minimum technical requirements and, wherever possible, are kept up-to-date, patched and fully supported
  • Monitor recurring technical incidents to identify problems, recommend and implement solutions to remediate recurring incidents
  • Maintain the availability, performance & stability of ERP systems and related third-party software
