SAP Project Manager

Our client, a sizeable end-user organisation, is looking for an SAP Project Manager to manage a new SAP project from our client’s current legacy system.  We are looking for a permanent candidate who ideally has previous hands-on experience in managing enterprise-level ERP implementation projects coupled with excellent stakeholder management skills. • Experience of SAP Project Management and Systems Implementations

• Ability to work as part of a wider team

Responsibilities:

• Resolve cross-functional issues at project level
• Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary
• Provide status reports to the Project Sponsor
• Manage consultancy input within the defined budget
• Liaise with any suppliers or account managers
• Submit regular Checkpoint Reports indicating any deviations from plan at either stage or project level and any corrective action taken
• Be responsible for project administration
• Ensure all team members understand their roles
• Recruit project staff and consultants as approved by the Project Board

Qualifications:

• Ideally PRINCE 2 Practitioner or similar Project Management methodology
• Degree in Computing or equivalent
