Our leading end-user client is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join their growing internal IT team to assist the organisation as they go through a large-scale digital transformation programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background but will also have excellent communications skills and be comfortable working closely with key business stakeholders to understand their requirements. This will be a multi-faceted position that will see the administrator involved in configuration, administration, development, analysis and much more.
Key Skills & Experience:
- In-depth understanding of document management and file migration into SharePoint
- Practical working knowledge of SharePoint Designer and MS InfoPath
- Knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript
- Experience in SharePoint administration; and using SharePoint document control systems
- SQL scripting; Microsoft Access experience would be an additional benefit
- Able to configure complex lists, libraries, custom work flows and on-line forms
- High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and ideally Visio
- Training and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical users
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and administrate the company’s existing SharePoint environment
- Support functional heads to gather their requirements and implement SharePoint solutions for them
- Configure and manage SharePoint services, site creation, feature configuration, work flows, on line forms, etc
- Set up and maintain permission groups and levels and manage user site access request
- Manage site content, content deployment and control documentation
- Design user-friendly pages and re-organise SharePoint page structure and links
- Document systems and then train others in the use of our SharePoint environment as required
- Acting as the first point of contact for all aspects of end user support for SharePoint sites
- Manage the new site content, suggest with site users improving ways of working and people’s interaction with the site
- Develop and automate business processes on SharePoint
- Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
