D365 F&O Support Analyst

Permanent Cambridgeshire £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + benefits

Our prestigious Cambridgeshire-based client is seeking to add to their in-house, ERP centre of excellence by hiring a D365 F&O Support Analyst. You will be working within a fast-paced, global organisation that is due to embark on a significant digital transformation programme. Our client are looking for someone with a solid background in supporting applications from either an AX2012 or D365F&O environment. The D365 F&O Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical and business process support for the company’s ERP and MES systems and associated applications (finance, sales and marketing, customer service, logistics, production, and operation support).

 

Key Skills & Experience: 

  • Proven experience with the use and/or implementation of key solutions including Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 F&O
  • Experience of working in a global business is essential, Manufacturing experience in desired
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for source control
  • Good understanding of SQL relationship concepts (ERD or UML concepts)
  • Demonstrable experience training/coaching on use of applications across all levels
  • Experience of assisting in the provision of Tier 3 technical troubleshooting
  • Ability to provide application fixes
  • Ability to proactively participate in change management initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent English language skills, second European language (French, Spanish, German) useful
  • Willing to work in an environment where it may be necessary (from time to time) to work flexibly or additional hours depending on the reasonable demands of the Company

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Take ownership of incidents and service requests logged by end-users
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner, following standard procedure to manage escalations through appropriate internal or external teams  
  • Participate in the maintenance and periodic updates for business and manufacturing solutions teams, in conjunction with the Hexcel change management processes
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to the customer
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with the applications, including setup and configuration
  • Fluent with business processes associated with the use of ERP and manufacturing systems
  • Provide administrative support for the application environment, this may include the use of monitoring programs and processes, maintaining application configuration tables and parameters and restarting background jobs
  • Provide support in the testing of bugs and functional changes to application systems and participate in end-user training
  • Support process adoption through preparation of documents/presentations/video materials, with on-site education and training of key users in conjunction with the IT Training team
