ERP Process Specialist

Permanent High Wycombe £50,000 per annum

Our client, an industry leading end-user organisation, is looking for an ERP Process Specialist to join them on a permanent basis. The ERP Process Specialist will bring expertise in process design and implementation, through leading solution design workshops, documenting processes, business rules, KPI’s, suitable process controls, and detailed business requirements. The ERP Process Specialist will also take ownership of the process documentation and process improvement methodology. The role is primarily based in High Wycombe but will require ad hoc national travel.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Prince 2 Practitioner
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience working on large scale business change programmes
  • Experience in design of Target Operating Models
  • ERP system knowledge in one or more of the following: CRM, Logistics planning, asset and resource management, finance and credit control
  • Wide ranging business experience covering multiple processes, departments and divisions
  • Confidence with process mapping tools, e.g. MS Vision / ARIS
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and facilitate
  • Solution design skills (process, organisation & technology)
  • Proactive and driven to challenge current ways of working
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to build, lead and inspire and high performing team



  • Manage the definition of the future state for a specific workstream (Operations, Sales, or Support).
  • Create comprehensive business requirements that can be translated into specific functional and technical requirements (in collaboration with Business Systems Analyst/External partners)
  • Accountable for documenting the outputs from the design workshops and producing end to end process flows, including organisational responsibilities, business requirements / rules
  • Definition and ownership of business implementation plans and activities to deliver the future state (e.g. policies, procedures, mapping tables etc)
  • Validation of the technical design and solution to ensure they meet the business requirements, through review and validation of technical documentation and participation in testing activities
  • Support the creation and delivery of major change management activities such as change impact assessments, change action plans, training needs analysis and change readiness assessments
  • Successful identification, engagement and management of relevant stakeholders at all levels across the organisation to ensure ownership of the future state design is established
  • Promotion of the work of the IT department and cross-divisional selling of IT initiatives around the group Promote a partnership culture between the IT department and divisions/functions within the group
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business on best adoptions of systems and processes
