D365 F&O Technical Consultant

Permanent London £50,000 - £64,000 per annum + package

Our large, ever-growing Microsoft Gold Partner client are actively looking for an experienced D365 F&O Technical Consultant to join their internal team on a permanent basis to assist with multiple, new implementations of D365 across their client base.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 2 - 5 years’ development experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&O
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and solve problems proactively
  • Clear and effective communications
  • Able to Apply Microsoft development techniques effectively following development best practices
  • Plan and carry out unit testing
  • Strong knowledge of Core Microsoft Dynamics Applications
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology, Microsoft Visual Studio development system, and Microsoft Dynamics specific development environments
  • Must know how to use VSTS and have exposure to other developer collaborative platforms, must have detailed exposure to LCS with the ability to spin up environments, code merges, configuration overwrites
  • Exposure to the management of the Azure infrastructure either via Microsoft managed infrastructure or own managed azure infrastructure, including networking, firewall management and environment provision
  • Successful completion of applicable product certification exams
  • Experience working for a partner/consultancy is required

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support service estimations for development tasks
  • Collaborate with the consultants in writing the technical design documents
  • Review the design documentation and related estimations
  • Customisation of the product to meet the needs of the customer based on the specifications from the Functional Consultant
  • Integration of the solution with the customer’s legacy databases and systems
  • Document custom developed functionality in accordance to documentation standards and best practices
  • Implement add-ons and code from third parties
  • Initial test of the developed functionality
  • Support integrated testing
