D365 F&O Finance Consultant

Contract Remote based £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (Pro Rota)


Our ever-growing consultancy client are looking for a D365 F&O Finance Consultant to join their busy and expanding practice. Their ethos is a delivery first practice and are looking to hire a like-minded individual. This person will be heavily involved in a number of new and upcoming D365 F&O implementations. The role will be remote based for the foreseeable; in a post pandemic world, travel to client sites would be expected at times.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Microsoft Dynamics D365 FO (essential)
  • An accountancy qualification/certification is essential
  • Strong Financial background within AX/D365
  • ERP Functional Architecture experience
  • Knowledge of Business Processes, specifically related to Finance & Accounting
  • Lead the Solution Delivery for your specific work stream
  • Manage functional resources
  • Work closely with PMs, Technical Architects, Consultants
  • Strong Engagement and Influencing skills
  • Full life cycle experience: workshops, requirement gathering, functional design, business process analysis, implementation, testing, go-live, training
  • Proven ability to create innovative solutions to complex business requirements as well as optimising business processes
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the elements of the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O related to Finance including GL, Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash processes
  • Provide leadership by working closely with Project Managers and key stake holders in the organisation to help drive user understanding and adoption of new system
  • Provide best practices as part of functional design documents for solution gaps, integrations, data migration, user roles and reporting
  • Provide technical guidance to the project team throughout the implementation to ensure accurate delivery of the project plans
  • Facilitate discussions with a range of business stakeholders to understand critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of process design, software configurations, customisations, and integrations to meet those needs
  • Work closely with the Programme Manager, Technical and Functional team members to ensure a clear end solution
