ERP Support Manager

Permanent Cheltenham £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Our leading end-user client is actively looking for an ERP Support Manager to join them on a permanent basis to head up their existing support team. This is a great opportunity to work for a fast-paced and exciting organisation and work on an upgrade project from AX 2009 to D365 F&O. This role will be remote based, with ad hoc time in their offices near Cheltenham.


To be considered for this role candidates must have previous experience leading a team supporting an ERP solution, preferably within an international environment.




  • First point of escalation for any incidents
  • Agreeing priorities with the business of incidents logged
  • Providing KPI reporting and status updates to the business and IT management teams
  • Ownership of the transition from Hyper care to BAU Support
  • Upskilling of support analysts
  • Identification of training requirements
  • Coordination with the project PMs of training / upskilling activities
  • Handover from project BA’s / Functional consultants to support
  • Definition and agreement of handover criteria
  • Ensuring criteria are met in time for handover
  • Member of the IT Project team
  • Maintain and promote cross-business collaboration going forwards
  • Promote Standardisation of processes across all businesses
  • Understand Businesses direction/strategy and collaborate on the alignment of solutions
  • Discussion forum for common challenges/issues and alignment on potential solutions
  • Ensure no ‘independent’ business decisions are made and minimise divergence from a common solution
  • Visibility of the D365 Roadmap - review and agreement on elements of interest
  • Evergreen updates planning and delivery


Key Skills & Experience:


  • Any ERP Implementation experience.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Are proactive, self-motivated and independent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that are conducive to team culture.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel to offsite locations for meetings and other related work.
