D365 F&O Technical Architect

Our leading end user client requires a D365 F&O Technical Architect with proven experience of leading teams of technical resources and who possesses strong technical expertise of D365 and Azure technologies. The role can be completed on a primarily remote basis with occasional time on-site in London.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience leading teams of Dynamics Engineers both onshore and offshore
• Expert knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O development & ALM process inc Azure DevOps
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server design and development
• Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Logic Apps, SSRS, SSIS, Azure Administration
• Technical leadership - mentoring, training
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to listen and understand business needs
• Displays sense of urgency, focused on achievement of deliverables to the highest quality in a pressured environment

Responsibilities:

• Line management of small in-house development team and offshore 3rd party development team – and the associated control processes – triage, solution review, code review
• Lead all technical aspects of the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations solution
• End to end Application Lifecycle Management processes for the platform – of which Azure DevOps is a core component
• Azure subscription ownership/management for the platform
• Advanced performance tuning and troubleshooting experience in Dynamics and SQL Server
• Provide end to end solution designs, document data mapping, and data validation between all technologies
• Provide continuous improvement and recommendations for the platform technologies
• Build constructive relationships with Finance, IT and the wider business, continuously managing stakeholder expectations
