D365 Finance Functional Consultant

Permanent Remote based £80,000 – £90,000 plus Package

Our large Global End User client is looking for an experienced Functional Consultant with strong knowledge of Finance and Projects modules, within D365 F&O, to assist on their ongoing digital transformation project. Our client strives to gain the most efficiency out of the system as possible and is seeking an expert to provide their finance team with systems management and enhancement. Our client has future plans to roll the product out globally, so this candidate will be included in those exciting upcoming projects.


Key Skills:


  • Experience with D365, including the Projects Module
  • Clear communication skills with all stakeholders
  • Personable and able to explain the requirements of the system to non-systems team members
  • Methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in generating and delivering effective solutions to systems challenges
  • Systems transformation experience




  • Support on solutions and implementations for new entity set-ups
  • Undertake a full review of the D365 system and work with the finance leadership committee around their points of frustration to create a full improvement strategy for the system
  • Communicate inefficiencies or issues with the system and feel confident challenging when necessary
  • Share knowledge with the wider systems team to support them in their personal development
  • Delivery of improvement projects within the D365 system including managing deadlines and effective communication throughout
  • Potential to be involved in some of the wider Global D365 strategies working alongside the Global Centre of Excellence
  • Form part of a network of Global D365 functional experts across the entire business challenging and solutions the system environment
  • Assisting with the creation and delivery of training to the UK finance and operations teams
  • Active part of discussions regarding the overview of system challenges working for party groups with key stakeholders on resolution strategies including potential development works
  • Monitor and manage the day to day health and maintenance of the MS Dynamics system, including overall system integrity as a record of the company’s financial transactions and balances.
  • Advise, develop and implement “Best Practice” around the use of MS Dynamics to support business processes
  • 3rd line ERP support for complex issues and resolutions
