D365 F&O Solution Architect

Contract Buckinghamshire £700 - £800 per day

Our large, global end-user client requires a Dynamics F&O Solution Architect with a strong Finance background to lead the delivery of their Microsoft Dynamics solutions. You will focus on the functional solutions across the Microsoft platform and assist on the D365 F&O Project. Ideally, you will have 10+ years of experience in ERP delivery with at least 5 years specific to Dynamics. 

 

 Key Skills & Experience: 

  • 10+ years’ experience in ERP delivery with at least 5 years specific to Dynamics.
  • Deep functional experience across MS D365 Finance modules covering the core functional areas of Record to Report, Customer to Cash and Source to Pay.
  • Experience in integration of MS D365 to other MS applications and legacy applications.
  • Experience in managing a solution governance and change request process.
  • At least 4 major implementation lifecycles completed.
  • Can work at all levels of the business from presenting to senior stakeholders, to interacting with middle management or end-users to gather requirements.
  • Has experience managing third-party System Integrator design and build activity, with a good understanding of the commercial implications of the relationship.
  • D365 CE experience would also be desirable.
  • Experience in designing solutions for various modules in Dynamics 365 for FinOps.
  • Minimum four full lifecycle implementations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Unified Operations (D365FO) and AX with a focus on Financial Management.
  • Prior experience in taking a lead position within Dynamics AX / D365 F&O implementations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Financial modules within Dynamics AX2012 and ideally D365 F&O.
  • Integration experience within Dynamics AX/F&O.
  • Worked within Agile and SureStep environments.
  • Strong business-facing skills.
  • Knowledge of architecture across multiple modules.
  • Experience with common software implementation methodologies, including Life Cycle Services (LCS) and Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design and development of business processes that enhance the out-of-the-box Dynamics functionality.
  • Effectively promote Dynamics capability within the business ensuring further adoption throughout the business.
  • Define training needs within the team and coach other team members.
  • Meet and exceed the businesses expectations of business knowledge, skills and behaviour 
  • Identify risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
  • Ensure Dynamics updates are communicated to relevant parties both formally and informally.

 

Location:  Hybrid – Remote/Buckinghamshire
