Head of Financial Systems (NetSuite)

Our global end-user client is seeking a Head of Financial Systems (NetSuite) who will be responsible for the maintenance, future development and effective operation of the Group’s chosen accounting system, NetSuite. In addition, this role is responsible for the timely roll-out of NetSuite into newly acquired entities, working in conjunction with Regional teams to coordinate a successful implementation.

Key Skills & Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience of in leading the development and roll-out of NetSuite in a multinational business
• Educated to Degree level
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent
• Strong demonstrable experience and understanding of NetSuite in a similar sized, multi-currency, multi-country business
• Solid accounting knowledge and experience
• Experience leading teams and developing and motivating staff
• Ability to work in a decentralised organisation
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring successful completion
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to both internal and external stakeholders, across all levels of the business
• Self-starter with strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate others
• Excellent written & spoken interpersonal skills in English (Spanish advantageous)

Advantageous:

• Project/change management experience in an agile environment
• PBCS experience
• NetSuite Certification

Main Responsibilities:

• Global subject matter expert on finance business process, providing product knowledge and systems capabilities
• Build and manage stakeholder relationships (Group Technology, Group and Regional Finance teams)
• Owner of annual NetSuite budget
• Lead new NetSuite integration programmes globally
• Drive accounting process improvements & consistencies across the Group in accordance with group accounting policies
• Continued development of a robust training programme for NetSuite users across the Group
• Manage the NetSuite team to maximise efficiency and ensure the team is challenged and developed
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with the Oracle NetSuite Account Manager and be the first point of contact for all enquiries
