Our client, a manufacturing end-user organisation, requires an IT Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. The role can be completed on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to be on-site 2 days a week in Nottingham.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in business analysis with organisations of various sizes and complexity.
- Business process mapping and optimisation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Business Analysis Professional certification.
- Experience leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies.
- Good interpersonal skills, possessing the confidence to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of, and competent in the use of Google Documents (e.g. Sheets & Pages).
- Be a self-starter, self-motivated, with a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the use of a range of tools and techniques in order to facilitate the requirements gathering and specification process on programmes/projects.
- Responsible for the identification and definition of systems, requirements and business processes that improve operational effectiveness across the business.
- Identifying and addressing operational, financial and technological risks within the business.
- Assisting with the translation of complex business systems requirements into a new global enterprise architecture that simplifies the technology ecosystem and helps define the path to the successful implementation of a systems transformation programme.
- Working within a Systems Transformation team to deliver a new global systems architecture as well as business change projects.
- Working with testing teams to assess systems change readiness.
- Working with the wider Systems Transformation teams to help run systems vendor tendering and assessments processes.
- Working with business units to help define global and local operating processes, then leading any subsequent optimisation work.
- Assisting with the communication/training of major change programmes as needed.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
