Junior IT Systems Analyst

Permanent Worcester £40,000 per annum + Benefits

Our end-user client is seeking a Junior IT Systems Analyst who, with close supervision, will support the IT Manager in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the Company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, JD Edwards, and related enterprise business technology applications within the assigned area of responsibility, including customer applications, data conversion, reporting and ERP implementations.


Key Skills and Experience:


  • ERP systems experience, preferably JD Edwards but not desired.
  • Batchelor’s Degree in information systems, business administration, computer science or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management, communication and organization skills.
  • Understanding of business processes regarding supply chain and global trade.
  • Excellent communication including an understanding of business and technology language.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to understand multiple perspectives and manage conflicting views.
  • Strong organizational skills: the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
  • Confident in dealing with all users at all levels and flexible to assist other team members.
  • Flexibility to travel if required.




  • Providing first-line support for applications like JDE for support of supply chain management, forecasting, engineering, production management, inventory control, procurement and other manufacturing-related processes including material requirement planning and capacity planning.
  • Supporting and maintaining service requests from users and ensuring that robust test plans are developed and documented to support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Assist managers and Users with the extraction and analysis of critical manufacturing operations information using report writing and Office 365 tools.
  • Assist in documenting standard processes, communicate changes and train key stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and ongoing use of business technology changes.
  • Assists in the management of a sound implementation plan for the development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of our business technology solutions.
  • Understand and maintain a network of super users across the company including key business and technology stakeholders.
  • Liaison with users and stakeholders to facilitate the improvement or development of new processes, practices, applications and/or reports.
