Our end user client is looking for a D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be responsible for partnering with finance and accounting stakeholders to enhance forecasting, budgeting, enterprise reporting, and other financial planning processes.

For this role candidates need to have proven experience of implementing D365 Finance into a manufacturing business.
The position will involve a mix of remote and regular on-site work at locations in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience delivering enterprise technology solutions, with a focus on finance and ERP systems.
- Extensive experience implementing Dynamics 365 F&O, particularly in finance and accounting functions.
- Experience leading teams of analysts, solution architects, or developers in financial technology projects.
- Experience working on complex financial transformation projects requiring deep ERP and financial planning expertise.
Main Responsibilities:
- Finance Technology: Partner closely with the finance team to select, configure, and update finance technologies that support budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with finance and accounting stakeholders on various technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- D365 Implementation: Lead and support D365 F&O implementation efforts, ensuring seamless integration of financial processes into the new platform or other modern planning systems.
- Enterprise Process Transformation: Engage with key business partners and business analysts to develop and refine future-state business processes, ensuring scalable and forward-thinking finance solutions.
- Solution Delivery: Collaborate with Senior Solution Architects and Business Analysts to drive technology solutions that improve finance operations, enhance collaboration, and provide key business insights.
- Testing and Documentation: Assist in the development of test scripts, test plans, and activation plans with key stakeholders. Document system configurations for IT teams and provide onboarding documentation for business users.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and manage key financial and operational performance indicators (KPIs) impacted by technology solutions.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on best practices in financial planning, reporting, and ERP implementations, leveraging industry insights to drive innovation.
