We are seeking an experienced Technical Data Migration Consultant to help the development of data migration packages to support our migration from current systems to D365 Finance and D365 Project Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and interpreting data migration requirements from internal stakeholders, coordinating with external vendors to ensure effective data migration strategies, and ensuring alignment with the overall project objectives.

This role requires strong knowledge of finance and accounting, technical acumen in data management, and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration between cross-functional teams.

Key Skills:

Technical Skills:

• MS SQL
• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Exposure to Dataverse (Project Operations) and D365 FSCM APIs

Analysis and Testing:

• Analyse issues with field mapping
• Analyse issues with data transformation
• Analyse API errors
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues and suggest solutions
• Understanding of APIs
• Conduct data quality checks
• Identify data anomalies
• Conduct testing of each data load

Project Management:

• Excellent communication skills
• Azure DevOps
• Issue logging, tracking, management, resolution
• Facilitate meetings with other squads

Functional:

• Exposure to D365 FSCM (Finance and Supply Chain Management)
• Exposure to D365 Project Operations would be beneficial
• Finance and/or Professional Services background would be an advantage

Experience Required:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a Data Migration role, preferably in a D365 Finance & Operations implementation project.
• Solid understanding of finance, accounting, and business operations to ensure accurate migration of financial data.
• Experience working with both on-premise and cloud-based ERP systems.

Location: London – Remote (ideally 1-2 days a week on site but not mandatory)

Candidates must be eligible to work in this country.
