Data Analyst  – Data Insights, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, Stakeholder Engagement, Reporting & Analysis, Social Media Analytics, Market Research, Data Management, Power BI, Tableau – London – Hybrid – £55,000 – £65,000

An innovative and leading organization in the entertainment sector is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Data Insights team in London. This permanent position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office and remote work. The role focuses on delivering advanced data solutions and strategic analysis to enhance opportunities for clients across various entertainment sectors.

This role is to be performed on a Hybrid basis and will require 2/3 days per week onsite in West London.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent specialized training/certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years in an Analyst role or a similar position within an entertainment agency, consumer brand, market research firm, advertising agency, or related company.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities; highly collaborative and inclusive team player, with a proactive and self-starting approach.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented and well-organized; capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changes effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong passion for and understanding of cultural and industry trends affecting brands and consumers, with a preference for experience in the live entertainment sector (music, comedy, and sports).
  • Digital Literacy: Knowledge of the entertainment, social media, and digital landscapes, including consumer and platform trends, audience measurement, metrics, and monetization strategies.
  • Data Analytics Experience: Proficient in mining and analyzing data from social listening, digital analytics, and market research tools (e.g., Meltwater, NetBase, Helixa, Nielsen, MRI/Simmons, Google Analytics, E-Poll).
  • Social Media Fluency: Avid user with fluency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook).
  • Technical Skills: Experienced in Microsoft Excel and creating client-facing PowerPoint presentations; experience with modern Data Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) is preferred.
  • Data-Driven Problem Solving: Skilled in using data to address business challenges and generate actionable insights for users.
  • Data Education: Committed to educating stakeholders, sharing information, and empowering through data.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Derive actionable insights from various data sources, focusing on Music, Comedy, and Sports sectors to support decision-making and strategy development.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact between data teams and business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and organize requirements for data solutions.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Create and present clear, visually intuitive reports and dashboards to communicate findings effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tool Utilization: Leverage proprietary and third-party analytics tools to evaluate and showcase the impact, popularity, and value of clients’ projects and initiatives.
  • Data Management: Manage relationships with data vendors and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of data used for analysis.
  • Training & Support: Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders on analytics platforms, maintain relevant documentation, and promote effective use of data products.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee multiple projects across different departments, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze and interpret industry trends, social media metrics, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and inform strategic planning.
  • Data Education: Promote data literacy and understanding within the organization by sharing insights and educating stakeholders on best practices and data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication channels with team members and stakeholders, adapting to feedback and evolving project requirements.

Location:  UK Hybrid/ London
