We are looking for experienced Data Architect, preferably with expertise in Dynamics 365 / D365 CRM / CE for an exciting contract opportunity. This is a 6-12-month role where as well as defining the data taxonomy and ontology, you will steer the direction of the business in relation to data retention and ageing from all their data sources, repositories and entities.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Data architecture experience.
  • Strong Data Governance experience
  • Adaptability to migrate to other systems as part of re-platforming roadmap
  • An understanding of system maintenance, integration and change management processes.
  • With a strong ability to navigate through complexity the ideal candidate will have experience working in a large transformation programme with a significant background in ERP
  • You will be working across multiple stakeholders so your ability to understand key business drivers within a complex business setting will be key. 
  • Significant background in ERP technology, Master Data, Management Information, and Data Migration requirements.
  • Being an expert in your field with extensive skills in Data Architecture, Strategy and governance
  • You will be an open minded, evidence-based decision maker who uses their reasoning and fair mindedness to make logical decisions

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define a data strategy with the associate roadmap.
  • Define the data taxonomy and ontology
  • You will steer the direction of the business in relation to data retention and ageing from all our data sources, repositories and entities
  • Define data governance policies, ensure data quality and security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business needs.

Location: West Midlands, Hybrid
