Our end-user client are looking for an experienced, hands-on ERP Programme Test Lead to act as the single point of accountability for all testing activities within the ERP deployment programme. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless coordination, execution, and completion of all test phases across the programme, regardless of whether the responsibility lies with the Systems Implementation (SI) partner or the internal testing team.

To be considered for this position, it is essential that candidates have experience in managing and leading testing activities as part of large-scale ERP programmes.

The role will involve a mix of remote and on-site working in London on a weekly basis.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Testing Expertise: Extensive experience in driving end-to-end testing for large-scale ERP or finance system deployments.
• Leadership and Coordination: Proven track record of managing complex testing activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with functional, integration, performance, and UAT processes in the context of enterprise systems.
• Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships and influence outcomes.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues and proactively address them under tight deadlines.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with our test management tooling (Azure DevOps) and defect tracking systems.
• Certifications: ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Own and oversee the end-to-end test strategy, planning, and execution for the ERP deployment programme.
• Act as the primary escalation point for all testing-related issues, regardless of ownership.
• Drive alignment on testing priorities and ensure that all testing activities remain focused on delivering programme objectives.

• Ensure seamless collaboration between the Systems Implementation partner and internal teams across all testing phases.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and dependencies between functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, user acceptance, and operational readiness testing.
• Proactively identify and manage dependencies, risks, and overlaps across testing responsibilities.
• Develop, refine, and own the test plan in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure that test cases, scripts, and scenarios are appropriately designed, reviewed, and approved for all testing phases.
• Oversee test environment readiness and data requirements, resolving issues as they arise.
• Track and report on test progress, ensuring transparency for senior stakeholders and the programme leadership team.

• Maintain rigorous quality assurance practices to ensure deliverables meet the expected standards before advancing to subsequent phases.
• Facilitate test reviews, defect triage meetings, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.
