Our client, a global technology leader, is looking for an Infrastructure Manager to lead and develop a high-performing technical team supporting enterprise IT systems across multiple time zones. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing cloud infrastructure, database administration, and service delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As Infrastructure Manager, you’ll oversee a skilled team responsible for managing cloud-based infrastructure (OCI), database environments (Oracle & MSSQL), and IT systems. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, resource planning, and service delivery at scale.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud-hosted database environments, ideally Oracle and MSSQL.
  • Good understanding of operating systems (Linux & Windows), networking, and communication protocols.
  • Proven experience in team management, including resource planning, KPI definition, and performance optimisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.
  • Familiarity with data reporting tools and experience working with structured reporting processes.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience with workforce management methodologies (a plus).
  • Proven experience leading support teams, with excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work remotely and engage with stakeholders across IT, business, and finance teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing technical team, providing mentorship, motivation, and support while ensuring effective resource management across multiple time zones.
  • Allocate resources effectively, aligning consultants with accounts based on their expertise to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee team operations, ensuring service levels are consistently met for both internal and external stakeholders while managing work schedules to support infrastructure and database needs globally.
  • Analyse data and forecast capacity requirements, ensuring the team is equipped to meet evolving business demands.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards, driving operational excellence and resolving escalated technical issues efficiently.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance capacity management, service quality, KPI performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of infrastructure and database management excellence.

Location: Remote from UK or Ireland

Candidates must be eligible to work or relocate to The Netherlands without sponsorship.
