D365 F&O Systems Accountant – D365 F&O, D365 Finance & Operations, Dynamics365 Finance & Operations, Systems accountant, systems analyst, business analyst, product owner, functional consultant, Finance, security, administration, Accountant – UK Remote- London- £70-£80K

Our global end user client is currently in the process of implementing D365 Finance & Operations and is now looking for an experienced D365 F&O System Accountant to join the BAU team to continue to support, develop and optimise the new system and global processes.

This role can be completed on a predominantly remote basis but occasional time on site in London will be required. Candidates must be UK based and eligible to work without requiring sponsorship.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Highly experienced in Dynamics 365 is essential, with some experience of OneStream CPM being important.
  • Able to translate technical expertise into solutions and process guidance to implement improvements or address user issues.
  • Able to map processes, outlining risks and controls.
  • Hands-on experience and in-depth functional understanding of D365F, workflows, approval processes, flows and triggers.  Hands-on experience in system customisation, configuration and implementation.
  • Qualified Accountant (Or QBE) with significant experience in finance process management, an in-depth understanding of finance processes and accounting principles.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and implementing standardised processes across multiple regions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Accountant, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations- PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001 standard.
  • Self-motivated and organised team player with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and other reporting tools (preferred).

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for managing and optimising the Dynamics 365 Finance application to meet business needs. Working closely with stakeholders, understanding business requirements, and translating them into actionable features and enhancements within the D365F platform.
  • You will be a key contact for the Managed Service provider in BAU and will work hand in hand with the Solutions Architect, Head of Finance System, ERP Technical Lead and other for the Finance Domain to safeguard and enhance the D365F product.
  • Manage the D365 Finance system to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements to meet the evolving needs of the business and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for D365 Finance-related enhancements.
  • Conduct user training sessions to promote efficient utilisation of the D365F system.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed.
  • Identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous process improvement, development of tools and systems enabling enhanced process automation
  • Manage system configurations, including user access, security settings, and integration with other applications.
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimise performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources needed to effectively utilise the system.
  • Stay informed about the latest updates and best practices related to Dynamics 365 and make recommendations for system enhancements or upgrades as needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and implement new features or functionality
  • Configure and customise D365 modules to meet business requirements
