We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to succeed in the recruitment industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build a career in recruitment with hands-on training and mentorship from experienced consultants.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred but not essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, sales, or administration is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with a diverse range of candidates and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with recruitment software or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and confident with a strong sense of empathy and understanding of people.
  • Ambition and Drive: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and develop a career in recruitment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify, attract, and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate suitability for specific roles, ensuring they meet client requirements.
  • Client Management: Support senior consultants in managing client relationships, including understanding their hiring needs, creating job descriptions, and providing updates on the recruitment process.
  • Job Advertising: Write and post compelling job advertisements to attract suitable candidates.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the recruitment database with candidate information, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide relevant insights to the team.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling interviews, preparing candidate profiles, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team with lead generation, follow-up calls, and new business development activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws, company policies, and best practices.
