Portfolio Systems Analyst – Systems Analyst, MSP, Managed Service Provider, As Is, Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Functional Consultant, ERP, Dynamics AX, Dynamics BC, Jira – £55 – £60ph – Remote UK/Europe

Our client, an international managed service provider, requires a Portfolio Systems Analyst to review and document their “As Is” systems portfolio, proactively identifying potential future shortfalls, and highlighting opportunities for system consolidation and improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) landscape and experience working within an MSP environment.

This is a UK/European remote-based role.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Strong understanding of common MSP processes and best practices.
• Experience in reviewing and documenting complex systems portfolios.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independentlyand as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive review and documentation of the existing systems portfolio, including but not limited to Jira, Dynamics Business Central, Dynamics AX, and Grafana.
• Proactively identify potential future shortfalls in systems based on anticipated business growth, technological advancements, and industry best practices.
• Analyse the current systems landscape to identify opportunities for system consolidation, streamlining processes, and improving efficiency.
• Develop and present clear and concise reports outlining findings, recommendations, and potential cost savings.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business users, and management, to gather information and ensure alignment.
• Contribute to the development of a roadmap for future systems improvements and upgrades.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies within the MSP space.
• Understand and apply knowledge of common MSP areas such as quotation, entitlement delivery, and service level agreements.
