Our end user client is seeking a Training Lead for their D365 F&O implementation. The role will coordinate training, develop superusers and identify areas for improvement as part of their transformation program.
Previous experience in leading training activities as part of ERP or IT transformation programs is essential.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in training and business transformation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role focused on ERP implementations.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) F&O is highly preferred, with additional experience in D365 Project Accounting being of particular interest.
- Strong knowledge of training strategy development, content creation, and delivery across diverse learning styles and user groups.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously under tight timelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other tools used for tracking, reporting, and content management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
- Leadership experience working with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Training Transformation Lead, overseeing the D365 training strategy across all application modules, with particular focus on D365 F&O.
- Partner with the Transformation Managers and Trainers to plan and track training efforts, ensuring realistic timelines, task clarity, and accurate resource allocation.
- Develop and document the training approach and best practices for all aspects of training and business transformation.
- Conduct training needs assessments, ensuring training content aligns with business process and system requirements.
- Create and deliver training materials in various formats (quick reference guides, user guides, training packs, videos, etc.), ensuring consistency and clarity of messaging across multiple trainers and geographies.
- Plan for future rollout waves, incorporating localizations and language-specific needs into training content.
- Provide ongoing support to business stakeholders in the adoption and application of training materials.
- Lead and deliver training, focusing on both business processes and system processes, while ensuring change management aspects are well communicated.
- Coach relevant business stakeholders in Train the Trainer techniques, equipping them with the skills needed to deliver effective training within their teams.
- Support the project team in training efforts related to Project Ways of Working, ensuring consistency in approach and delivery.
- Provide hypercare support following each rollout wave to help resolve issues and ensure smooth transitions for end users.
- Capture lessons learned from hypercare support to adapt training materials and methods for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with D365 Business Analysts and Test Leads to ensure alignment between business processes, testing, and training materials, maximizing the reuse of collateral across these streams.
